Hal R. Allen

Hal R. Allen is an accountant by profession, but a romantic by passion. He raised eight daughters -- or at least his wife did -- and one son. With his fourth daughter and son, he raised dairy heifers. Having traveled most of the inter-mountain West and as far away as Alaska and Puerto Rico, Hal has taken pictures -- for his enjoyment and hopefully for the enjoyment of others.  He has taught classes and written a book about basic photography, as well as the advance techniques of HDR and High Resolution Panoramas.   

Unsurprisingly, his passion for taking pictures has morphed from landscape and human interest photography to include making stunning photographs of some of his 400+ orchids.  

The galleries found on the web site are divided between Orchids, Landscape and Human Interest. They are replete with what he believes are some of the best of the best of his work. They are here for you to browse, and just maybe you’ll find one or two that will enhance a wall in your home or office.
