TETONS, MOUNT MORAN, AND JACKSON LAKE

TETONS, MOUNT MORAN, AND JACKSON LAKE

I patiently waited for the cloud cover to burn off the Tetons on a crisp, otherwise clear, February day.  Taken from Jackson Lake (covered with 30 inches of ice and 10 inches of snow), this perspective emphasizes Mount Moran, the trees at the base of the frozen lake, and the clouds clinging tenaciously to the northern face of the famous Tetons near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
