I struggled for at least ten minutes before I decided to include this photograph in my gallery. It wasn't taken in the wilds of Africa. It wasn't even taken in a wildlife preserve. My goodness! It was taken in a zoo!?@. But then, all but the most radical purists would admit that it is an incredible photograph. In print, the red veins of the tongue pop out. The eyes are clear and focused. One can almost feel and sense what the leopard is thinking. The story the photograph tells far outweighs where it was told. And it wasn't all that easy to capture. Anyway, it's one of my favorites.
